Author of New Trump Book Offers More Shocking Insight During Latest Interview

On Monday, Michael Wolff, author of “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House” appeared on MSNBC.

During the interview, Wolff revealed who is most responsible for information that leaks to the press from the White House.

“The biggest leaker was Donald Trump,” Wolff said.

He stated that “many of the leaks that [Trump] would come out and rail against” occurred because “he gets on the phone at night” with “friends and motor-mouths.”

“Is Donald Trump aware of what he’s saying? I would suspect not all of it,” Wolff added.

Earlier on Monday, Wolff was interviewed on “CBS This Morning.”

While speaking of his interactions with President Trump, Wolff said, “Well, I think he probably had no idea he was speaking to me for this book. When I would meet the president in the White House, we would chat as though we were friends.”

On Friday, President Trump addressed Wolff and his book by tweeting, “Michael Wolff is a total loser who made up stories in order to sell this really boring and untruthful book. He used Sloppy Steve Bannon, who cried when he got fired and begged for his job. Now Sloppy Steve has been dumped like a dog by almost everyone. Too bad!”

Trump slammed the book again on Sunday in a tweet, in which the president wrote, “I’ve had to put up with the Fake News from the first day I announced that I would be running for President. Now I have to put up with a Fake Book, written by a totally discredited author. Ronald Reagan had the same problem and handled it well. So will I!”
